| Get the Most from your VisionWeb Membership |
|

Make sure you're getting the maximum benefit of your VisionWeb membership by adding your existing supplier accounts to your VisionWeb account. Here's how:
|
 |
1) | Click here to view the list of current VisionWeb suppliers. If you have accounts with any of these suppliers, you will want to add them to your VisionWeb account. |
| 2) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and click the "My Account" heading. Then click the "Supplier Accounts" link on the left navigation bar. Here you'll see your active supplier accounts. If your suppliers are not already added for validation and use on VisionWeb, you will want to do so now. |
| 3) | Click on "+ Add New Supplier" at the top of the list. Then complete the simple form to submit your account information. You'll be able to order products from newly added suppliers within 48 hours (pending supplier validation/approval).

Check the Supplier List regularly for updates. We're continually adding new suppliers to the growing VisionWeb network, and keeping your supplier list up-to-date will help you take full advantage of all that VisionWeb offers.

| Increase your sales of contact lenses |
|
|
Are your patients dialing 800 numbers to enjoy convenient home delivery of replenishment contact lenses? Show them you understand their needs, while ensuring they receive proper eyecare. VisionWeb allows you to order replenishment contact lenses, and have them delivered directly to your patients. Here's how:
|
 |
1) | When fitting patients for contacts, let them know you can provide the convenience of home delivery for their replenishment lenses. Have them contact you when replenishment is necessary. |
| 2) | When a patient request is received, log in to www.VisionWeb.com, and select "Order Now". Then select "Patient Delivery" under the "Contact Lenses" heading. |
| 3) | Complete the ordering information, and review that the patient address is correct. |
| 4) | Submit the order by clicking "Send Order Now."
|

Your patients enjoy the convenience of home delivery. You ensure that they receive the proper lenses from a trusted supplier. And your business enjoys replenishment contact lens sales that might have otherwise gone elsewhere.

| Reduce Administrative Time with Group Level Access |
|
|
Want to modify your users' access to a certain supplier? VisionWeb allows you to change access settings for all users at once. This time saver can really help when setting up new supplier accounts that your staff uses regularly. Here's how:
|
 |
1) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and click on "My Account". |
| 2) | Select "Group Level Access" on the left navigation bar. |
| 3) | Select the appropriate action from the drop-down menu to "Add" or "Remove" access, then choose the supplier account. |
| 4) | Use the drop-down list box to change access for a group; otherwise, select the check boxes of all users you wish to affect.
|
| 5) | Click on the "Apply & Update" button at the top right.
|
|
|
Now, the access change you made will be applied to all the user accounts you've selected.
|

| Make VisionWeb your Start Page |
|
|
You can save time by setting your Web browser to automatically open the VisionWeb site as your default home page. Here's how:
|
|
For Internet Explorer users:
|
 |
1) | Go to www.VisionWeb.com. |
| 2) | From the toolbar items at the top, click on "Tools" and select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu. |
| 3) | In the "Home page" section, click on "Use Current", then click on "Apply". |
| 4) | Click "OK" to close the window.
|
|
|
For Netscape users:
|
 |
1) | Go to www.VisionWeb.com. |
| 2) | From the toolbar items at the top, click on "Edit" and select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. |
| 3) | Click "Navigator" from the list of options on the left. |
| 4) | In the "Home Page" section, click on "Use Current Page". |
| 5) | Click "OK" to close the window.
|
|
|
Now, whenever you open up your Web browser, you'll automatically open VisionWeb, allowing you to log in and get started right away.
|

| Customize Your VisionWeb Experience |
|
|
You and your staff may have different ways of using VisionWeb to manage the ordering process and stay current with the industry. VisionWeb allows you to customize each user's experience by selecting the appropriate section to appear when they log in. Whether you need to get right down to business with "Order Now," manage the day's orders in the "Pending Orders" or "Order Status" screens, or stay current with "News and Info," customizing each user's account can save everyone time. Here's how to do it:

 |
1) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and select "My Account" from the top navigation bar. |
| 2) | Select "User Acounts" from the left navigation bar. |
| 3) | Select the user account to be customized by clicking in the circle to the left, then click the "Edit Selected" tab at the bottom of the list. |
| 4) | In the "Default Page (at login)" field, select the page you wish to appear upon login to VisionWeb, then save the selection by clicking on the "Update/Apply Changes" button at the lower right of the page.
|
|
|
Now, when users log in, they will automatically navigate to the VisionWeb page they need the most - saving time and making VisionWeb even easier to use in your practice!
|

| A Revenue-Generating Frame Board |
|
|
The collection of frames that you keep in stock is one of your best merchandising tools. Don't let a depleted inventory eat into those high-margin frame sales. Here's how VisionWeb can help:
|
 |
1) | When a patient selects a frame style, note the brand and style number. |
| 2) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and select "Frames/Parts" from the "Order Now" navigation bar. |
| 3) | Select the brand and enter the style number in the "Style Search" section. (If you don't see the brand you want, be sure to activate your Frames supplier accounts under the "My Account" section.) |
| 4) | Place an order for the patient's frame selection to be shipped directly to the lab where the lenses are being finished.
|
|
|
Now, you won't have to package the frames and ship them to the lab for assembly. Both frame and lens orders will arrive with the patient's information, so you'll avoid any possible confusion at the lab. Best of all, your other patients will be able to select from your complete collection of frames, including those you've already fitted!

| Save Time with the "Archive Orders" Feature |
|
|
Retrieving information for all of your VisionWeb orders may tend to increase the amount of time it takes to access your order status page. VisionWeb offers you a way to "file" these completed orders, so that they don't slow you down. The "Archive" function ensures your order history is there when you need it, and out of the way when you don't. Here's how to use it:

 |
1) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and select Order Status from the navigation bar. |
| 2) | From the list of orders, select those you wish to archive by clicking in the check box to the left of each order. |
| 3) | To archive the selected orders, click on the Archive Selected tab at the bottom of the category list.
|
|
|
To later retrieve an order that's been archived, click Archives on the left navigation bar. This will take you to a search page, where you can retrieve your archived orders by a variety of search criteria, including order number, patient name, supplier, or date range.
Now, "Order Status" contains only those orders that are currently in process. Best of all, your archived orders are there when you need them, but won't slow down your day-to-day order tracking!

1) | Log in to www.VisionWeb.com and click the "CE/CME" link on the top navigation bar. |
| 2) | Select the appropriate profession (Ophthalmologist, Optometrist, or Optician) from the left navigation bar. |
| 3) | Review the available course offerings from the list, and click "View Details" for a more detailed description and cost information (some courses may require additional per-course fees, as determined by the organization offering the course.) |
| 4) | Complete the "Self-Assessment Examination" and submit using the appropriate method, described under "CE Instructions" in the left navigation bar.
