HOYA VISION CARE Enters Agreement with VisionWeb to Electronically Expedite Lens Ordering for Eyecare Practitioners
Austin, Texas and Dallas, Texas - January 15, 2004 - HOYA VISION CARE announced today they had entered into an agreement with VisionWeb, LP, the online service to help eye care providers streamline and simplify their practice, to allow direct ordering of Rx and ophthalmic lens products through VisionWeb's electronic ordering platform.
Under this agreement, eyecare practitioners will be able to order their Rx from any of the 16 HOYA laboratories electronically. This will allow the practices to transmit Rx orders directly to HOYA via www.visionweb.com. Orders can be placed with the frame trace, allowing for more accurate and timely delivery of the Rx.
