VisionWeb to Integrate with First Insight’s MaximEyes Practice Management Software
Austin, Texas – March 11, 2005 – VisionWeb, the online service to help eyecare providers streamline and simplify their practices, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with First Insight®, a leading provider of practice management and electronic medical records software solutions for the eye care practice.
Under the agreement, the two companies will integrate VisionWeb’s product ordering capabilities into First Insight’s maximEyes practice management software. This will allow eyecare practices using maximEyes to place eyecare product orders to many of the suppliers connected to VisionWeb, from within their practice management environment.

With more than 1,000 active users, maximEyes is one of the leading practice management software packages. Once this integration is complete, these practices will be able to send electronic orders to their suppliers from within maximEyes, and track the status of those orders at any time.
