VisionWeb Announces Latest Release of VisionWeb Essential
Software Improvements Make VisionWeb’s Spectacle Lens Ordering Engine Up To Five Times Faster
Austin, Texas –April 26, 2005 – VisionWeb, the online service to help eyecare providers streamline and simplify their practices, has announced improved functionality to its spectacle lens ordering engine. The improvements will be rolled out over the next several months beginning in April 2005; the initial improvements focus on speed and performance. VisionWeb’s “smart ordering engines” continuously check orders for accuracy when users are entering data. In this new software upgrade, error checking is maintained while speed is increased up to 5 times—a noticeable improvement, especially for members who place many orders and those using a dial-up connection.
