VisionWeb Streamlines Practice Management System Integration with Introduction of RouteONE Software

VisionWeb’s RouteONE software allows eyecare providers to efficiently send orders to hundreds of laboratories utilizing office’s current practice management system

Austin, TX – April 1, 2006 – VisionWeb, the premier provider of technology services to streamline the eyecare practice, announced today the launch of RouteONE, a new product that simplifies the communication from practice management systems to VisionWeb’s network of over 210 spectacle lens laboratories.

Customers simply install the RouteONE software on the same system as their practice management system or server. Working with VisionWeb, customers personalize the RouteONE software to reflect the products sold in their dispensary. Once installed and set-up, customers continue to use their practice management system to record spectacle lens product information, and RouteONE transmits the spectacle lens information to the customer designated laboratory.

Compulink’s Advantage 8.1 software is the first practice management system to interface with RouteONE. VisionWeb expects to announce additional RouteONE interfaces over the next several months. Vision Associates of New Jersey, an optical dispensary management group for ophthalmology practices, is utilizing Compulink Advantage 8.1 in its 45 facilities and is the first RouteONE customer.
