VisionWeb Integrates with MSF Computing’s IFILE, CFILE, and Vision + Software for Optometrists and Opticians

VisionWeb and MSF Computing, Inc. collaborate to allow IFILE, CFILE, and Vision + customers to order from over 210 VisionWeb-connected laboratories

Austin, Texas – May 1, 2006 – VisionWeb, the online service to help eyecare providers streamline and simplify their practices, and MSF Computing, Inc. providers of IFILE, CFILE, and Vision + practice management software, announced today that users of these systems can now order prescription spectacle lenses to their labs using VisionWeb technology.

VisionWeb and MSF Computing have created a seamless interface allowing users to place and track spectacle lens orders from within the IFILE, CFILE, and Vision + software.

MSF Computing’s IFILE, CFILE, and Vision + systems serve different customers and offer different features for Optometrists and Opticians. IFILE offers a complete practice management solution for Optometrists. The features of IFILE include appointment scheduling, paperless examinations, inventory control, order entry recording and automatic invoicing, printing of the HCFA form, complete inventory control, sales analysis, accounts receivable and recall. The CFILE system is for Opticians and Optical Stores. CFILE offers a complete package that includes full inventory control, order entry and automatic invoicing, printing of the HCFA form, electronic ordering to labs, electronic claims submissions, detailed board analysis, accounts receivable, detailed sales analysis and recall. The Vision + system is pre-packaged version of the CFILE system that provides a complete point of sale software systems for Opticians at a lower cost. The features of Vision + include order entry and pricing, online ordering to labs, inventory control, accounts receivable, electronic claim submission and reconciliation, and detailed analysis and reporting.

All three systems create the HIPAA-compliant HCFA file that can be directly uploaded and submitted through VisionWeb Enhanced, allowing the customer to avoid re-keying any claim information.
