Click on the Start button on the Windows tool bar. The operating system is shown on the left side of the pop-up menu.


1. Double click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop screen.

2. Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
3. Double click on the "System" icon.
4. Click the "General" tab. Your PC's processor type and amount of memory (RAM) are listed under the heading "Computer:".
5. Click on the "OK" button when finished viewing the information.

4. Modem type will display in the window.
5. Click on "Properties".
6. Modem speed will display in the " Maximum Speed" window. If the speed is 57600(56K) or higher, the minimum requirement is met.

To check your version of Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. Start your browser.
2. Select "Help" from the menu bar.
3. Select "About Internet Explorer" to view the version information.

To check your version of Netscape Navigator or Netscape Communicator:
1. Start your browser.
2. Select "Help" from the menu bar.
