With nearly six years at VisionWeb, Jeff oversees all aspects of the strategic development and growth of this unique enterprise within the eyecare industry. He is directly accountable to the VisionWeb Board of Directors. He takes a hands-on approach, guiding VisionWeb toward goals which foster a collaborative environment, building strong eyecare industry relationships through the application of technological solutions. Jeff believes that the success of VisionWeb is dependent on its ability to connect all eyecare providers to important suppliers, payers, practice management systems, lab management systems, and buying groups through the highest quality technology in the industry. Under his guidance, VisionWeb remains neutral to the industry, focusing on streamlining and simplifying the eyecare practice, and now operates on an expanding global platform.

Jeff came to VisionWeb in 2002 with over 30 years of global healthcare experience from Johnson and Johnson, where he served most recently as VP of Operations Worldwide for Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, Inc. As a member of the Global Franchise Team for Vistakon, he oversaw the production of all Vistakon soft disposable contact lenses, as well as having responsibility for the products' distribution, facilities, optical tooling, and engineering functions.

In addition to his 15 years in operations with Johnson &Johnson Vision Care, Jeff spent 15 years in sales and marketing positions with various Johnson & Johnson companies. He holds a BS degree in Commerce and Engineering Sciences from Drexel University, where he also earned his MBA degree.

Eric oversees all design, architecture, and development of VisionWeb technology. He is responsible for the teams which implement current VisionWeb technology to create usable solutions for the eyecare industry, both in the U.S. and abroad. He also drives the conceptualization and development of new technologies to meet the growing needs and sophisticated demands of the eyecare industry. Eric’s contributions to the “vision of VisionWeb” began even before its founding in 2000, and he is considered an industry thought leader and visionary on how technology can improve the practice of eyecare.

Eric came to VisionWeb after eight years at Essilor International, where he was CIO for North American operations and Vice President for Software Development. There, he was responsible for the complete redesign of corporate back-office software and the implementation of Oracle software for all Essilor plants worldwide. He also oversaw the redesign of data-warehouse and data-mining systems and the rollout of a remote lens-ordering capability for eyecare professionals in Europe. At Essilor of America, Eric redesigned the corporate telecommunication network and redesigned manufacturing control systems for three U.S. plants. Prior to Essilor, he was Vice President/Retail Markets for UNILOG, a European business and technology consulting firm. He holds an M.S. degree from the Universite des Arts et Metiers in France.

Tom joined VisionWeb as CFO and VP of Business Development in February 2008. He is responsible for VisionWeb’s financial health, overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting, and plays a key role in cultivating VisionWeb business ventures. Tom drives VisionWeb’s industry relationships, serving as the liaison for VisionWeb’s many technology and equity partnerships.

Tom comes to VisionWeb from Hoya Vision Care North America, where he served for the past two and a half years as Chief Financial Officer. Tom has extensive experience in finance and business development areas and previously worked with increasing levels of responsibility at Nokia, Federal Mogul, and Eaton Corporation. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Tom is a CPA and a CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst).

In his role as COO, Ken oversees the areas of sales, marketing, and customer service while playing an active role in business development and customer relationships. To that end, he guides the growth and direction of the key resources that build on VisionWeb’s leadership position and dedication to enhancing the customer experience while expanding the scope of VisionWeb’s portfolio and customer base.

Ken joins VisionWeb from Essilor of America, where he held marketing and sales positions in multiple divisions including Silor and Essilor Retail for nearly 17 years, most recently as a senior executive in the Essilor Retail division.

Ken has extensive experience with top manufacturing companies in the optical industry. He began his professional career in 1980 as a sales representative with Alcon Laboratories. In 1982 he joined Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, and for 8 years delivered results earning him increased responsibility in both the sales and marketing areas, including serving as their first National Sales Manager. As an early Product Director for Vistakon, he was part of a small marketing team taking ACUVUE Contact Lenses from concept testing and test marketing to a successful national launch. Ken received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his master’s degree in business administration from Jacksonville University.

Stan is widely recognized and well known within the eyecare industry as a creative thought leader and an enthusiastic advocate in how to best serve the eyecare profession and improve practice management. Having worked closely with the American Optometric Association and all state affiliates for decades, he is adept at finding ways to solve problems and to push new approaches to helping VisionWeb customers develop successful eyecare practices.  Stan provides VisionWeb with an important pulse on its customer, the eyecare professional, and speaks with a strong voice of advocacy for all types of improvements in how VisionWeb serves the industry.

Stan came to VisionWeb with over 36 years of experience in the optical industry, most recently as Vice President of Professional Affairs at Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. In addition to his 12 years at Vistakon, Stan was in private practice for over 24 years, founding a highly successful, multi-doctor optometric practice on Oahu, HI.

Throughout his career, Stan has held many elected professional positions including, serving as President of the American Optometric Foundation, the Hawaii Optometric Association, the Hawaii Board of Examiners in Optometry, and the Hawaii Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry.

Prior to joining Vistakon in 1991, he served as a consultant and clinical investigator to most major contact lens and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Stan’s many accomplishments have been recognized by numerous professional and government organizations, and he has served as an adjunct clinical faculty member for four schools and colleges of optometry.

Stan holds Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from Pacific University’s College of Optometry. Stan was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Pacific University and an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
