Get the Most from your VisionWeb Membership
Make sure you're getting the maximum benefit of your VisionWeb membership by adding your existing supplier accounts to your VisionWeb account. Here's how:
1) Click here to view the list of current VisionWeb suppliers. If you have accounts with any of these suppliers, you will want to add them to your VisionWeb account.
2) Log in to www.visionweb.com and click the "My Account" heading. Then click the "Supplier Accounts" link on the left navigation bar. Here you'll see your active supplier accounts. If your suppliers are not already added for validation and use on VisionWeb, you will want to do so now.
3) Click on "+ Add New Supplier" at the top of the list. Then complete the simple form to submit your account information. You'll be able to order products from newly added suppliers within 48 hours (pending supplier validation/approval).
Check the supplier list regularly for updates. We're continually adding new suppliers to the growing VisionWeb network, and keeping your supplier list up-to-date will help you take full advantage of all that VisionWeb offers.

Increase Your Sales of Contact Lenses
Are your patients dialing 800 numbers to enjoy convenient home delivery of replenishment contact lenses? Show them you understand their needs, while ensuring they receive proper eyecare. VisionWeb allows you to order replenishment contact lenses, and have them delivered directly to your patients. Here's how:
1) When fitting patients for contacts, let them know you can provide the convenience of home delivery for their replenishment lenses. Have them contact you when replenishment is necessary.
2) When a patient request is received, log in to www.visionweb.com, and select "Order Now". Then select "Patient Delivery" under the "Contact Lenses" heading.
3) Complete the ordering information, and review that the patient address is correct.
4) Submit the order by clicking "Send Order Now."
Your patients enjoy the convenience of home delivery. You ensure that they receive the proper lenses from a trusted supplier. And your business enjoys replenishment contact lens sales that might have otherwise gone elsewhere.

Reduce Administrative Time with Group Level Access
Want to modify your users' access to a certain supplier? VisionWeb allows you to change access settings for all users at once. This time saver can really help when setting up new supplier accounts that your staff uses regularly. Here's how:
1) Log in to www.visionweb.com and click on "My Account".
2) Select "Group Level Access" on the left navigation bar.
3) Select the appropriate action from the drop-down menu to "Add" or "Remove" access, then choose the supplier account.
4) Use the drop-down list box to change access for a group; otherwise, select the check boxes of all users you wish to affect.
5) Click on the "Apply & Update" button at the top right.
Now, the access change you made will be applied to all the user accounts you've selected.

Save Time with the "Archived Orders" Feature
Retrieving information for all of your VisionWeb orders may tend to increase the amount of time it takes to access your order status page. VisionWeb offers you a way to "file" these completed orders, so that they don't slow you down. The "Archive" function ensures your order history is there when you need it, and out of the way when you don't. Here's how to use it:
1) Log in to www.visionweb.com and select Order Status from the navigation bar.
2) From the list of orders, select those you wish to archive by clicking in the check box to the left of each order.
3) To archive the selected orders, click on the Archive Selected button.
To later retrieve an order that's been archived, navigate to the Archived Orders page. Here you can retrieve your archived orders by a variety of search criteria, including order number, patient name, supplier, or date range.
Now, "Order Status" contains only those orders that are currently in process. Best of all, your archived orders are there when you need them, but won't slow down your day-to-day order tracking!

Stay Ahead With Online CE/CME Courses
With so many demands placed on you and your staff throughout the day, it can sometimes feel like a struggle to keep up with the latest Continuing Education course offerings and accreditation requirements. VisionWeb can help! We now offer even more online CE/CME courses that can be completed without ever leaving the office! Here's how:
1) Log in to www.visionweb.com and click the "CE/CME" link on the top navigation bar.
2) Select the appropriate profession (Ophthalmologist, Optometrist, or Optician) from the left navigation bar.
3) Review the available course offerings from the list, and click "View Details" for a more detailed description and cost information (some courses may require additional per-course fees, as determined by the organization offering the course.)
4) Complete the "Self-Assessment Examination" and submit using the appropriate method, described under "CE Instructions" in the left navigation bar.
Now you and your staff can stay current without having to leave the office. Best of all, you decide when class is in session! |
