With online multi-payer insurance transaction processing; convenient, direct-to-supplier spectacle lens, frames, and contact lens ordering; VisionWeb services help to simplify and automate cumbersome processes that were once manual. VisionWeb is not a buying group, and does not interfere with pricing relationships. Rather, we offer eyecare providers simple and convenient services that are easily integrated into their daily business processes.

For Suppliers, Laboratories, and Payers:
VisionWeb connects suppliers, laboratories, and payers directly to their customers while serving as a platform for the transfer of order and claims data. VisionWeb services help to streamline and automate the manual processes associated with order fulfillment and claims processing, allowing for the seamless transfer of information from one platform to another. Our transaction services eliminate the errors associated with traditional methods of ordering products, and provide real-time online order status for a supplier or laboratory’s customers.

VisionWeb Products and Services:

VisionWeb Essential - With VisionWeb Essential, eyecare providers can place their contact lens, spectacle lens, and frame orders online to hundreds of laboratories and suppliers. As a VisionWeb Essential member, eyecare providers will also gain access to a host of other benefits, including a customizable Web site for their practice; accredited CE/CME classes; and online clinical and industry news and information. Suppliers and laboratories use VisionWeb Essential as a way to transfer order data and receive orders electronically – allowing them to automate order fulfillment processes and provide online order status to eyecare providers. VisionWeb has integrated its transaction processing with five of the largest laboratory management systems in the industry (including DVI, Optifacts, OMICS, VisionStar, and CC Systems), providing for efficient electronic communication of orders directly into a laboratory. In addition, VisionWeb offers Express Connect, a service designed for rapid integration for any laboratory in the United States. VisionWeb Enhanced - With VisionWeb Enhanced, eyecare providers can process online insurance transactions with Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and hundreds of commercial payers. VisionWeb Enhanced offers an easy-to-use interface for entering and submitting claim information to payers online. VisionWeb Enhanced also allows eyecare providers to import patient claims data directly from many practice management systems, and submit the electronic claim to the payer, without re-entering claim information. In addition to being able to submit electronic claims, eyecare providers can check eligibility, authorizations, and claims status in real time. VisionWeb O.N.E. - Open Network Exchange - VisionWeb’s Open Network Exchange allows retail and optical laboratories to send orders directly to processing centers or other labs without to the need re-key order information or phone or fax the order.
